AV Requirements


  1. Audio Visual Materials
    1. Wireless lavaliere microphone
    2. James will bring his own laptop computer with his presentation notes on Microsoft PowerPoint. All you need to provide is a screen, computer projection system, and the cable to connect the computer to the projector.
  2. Staging
    The following suggestions are important in order to give maximum interaction between James and the audience.
    1. The distance from the stage to the first row of chairs should be no more than about 10 feet.
    2. For audiences larger than 100 people a riser should be used for a stage.
    3. If a podium is being used in the introduction please set it back a few feet from the front so James will have room to walk in front of it.
  3. Lighting
    If possible dim the area directly above the screen while keeping the rest of the house lights on maximum.
  4. Recording
    A/V taping is encouraged. If you are interested in taping James’ presentation please contact The Robbins Group in advance.
